CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man will spend time in state prison for possessing methamphetamine.

Marcus Homer Waltmon, 40, pleaded guilty in two different cases to felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance-methamphetamine during sentencing court Friday.

President Judge Fredric J. Ammerman sentenced him to two to five years in state prison.

According to the affidavit of probable cause in the first case, on April 26, 2018, officers pulled over a vehicle Waltmon was traveling in, for having an expired inspection sticker.

There was an odor of marijuana coming from the car, but all three occupants denied having any marijuana.

When they were removed from the vehicle, police found several items where Waltmon had been sitting including a large zip-up pouch containing 12 grams of methamphetamine, and other bags that contained meth, a scale and paraphernalia.

In the second case, on Oct. 17, police found Waltmon in possession of 10 bags of meth, two containers of marijuana, a pricing sheet, scales and money after a search warrant was executed on his residence on Stewart Avenue.
