CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1785 Auxiliary recently presented St. Francis School with a new flag. This flag will replace the one that has been hanging in the Glynn Hall gymnasium.
The school’s cub and boy scouts held the flag as the students said the Pledge of Allegiance together. Members of Troop 9 properly folded the flag until it can be mounted on the wall.
School staff would like to thank Darlene Rowles of the VFW Auxiliary and Sue Diehl, VFW Auxiliary youth coordinator, for initiating this gift and event.
Pictured, in the first row, are: William Burns, Jeremiah Hess, Mason Young, Kardon Spencer and Bryce Wills.
