OSCEOLA MILLS – The Osceola Mills Community Historical Foundation’s Brisbin House Museum is setting limited hours for the summer of 2019, due to interior renovations.
The heating system will be replaced, a stair lift will be added and new lighting fixtures will be installed. Afterwards, the second-floor museum walls will be painted.
The foundation’s longer-range aim is to better serve the visiting public.
The foundation officers remind the public that the museum will be open for visitors on Sunday, June 30 in coordination with the annual car show; Saturday, Sept. 7 to celebrate Osceola Spirit Day; and Saturday, Sept. 28, which is the day of the Osceola High School Annual Alumni Reunion.
The foundation also reminds the public that individual, family or small group tours of the museum can be arranged by calling 814-378-5748 or 814-339-7778.
