State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about a domestic incident Sunday on Main Street in Brockway Borough. According to state police, a 28-year-old Kersey man and a 33-year-old Brockway woman argued in her vehicle outside of his home. Troopers say he spit on her and she retaliated by slapping him in the face. Then, she allegedly strangled him. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Friday on Arch Street Extension in Snyder Township. During the incident, a 41-year-old Brockway man and the victim engaged in an argument that turned physical in nature. He allegedly grabbed her by the throat and threw her on their bed before leaving the room.
- State police received a report of cruelty to animals April 24 on Hormtown Road/U.S. Route 322 in Winslow Township. During the incident, someone drove to the area and allegedly threw out two dogs. Then, they fled the scene toward Reynoldsville. The vehicle is blue in color and a Dodge pick-up with a work rack on its bed. State police say the dogs were transported to the Gateway Humane Society.
State police at Ridgway
- A state police fire marshal is investigating a structure fire that broke out Monday night at 115 ½ E. Washington Ave., in DuBois City. According to the report, the cause of the fire is currently unknown, and damage is estimated at $200,000. State police say a 68-year-old DuBois man was injured and transported for medical treatment.
Clearfield Borough
- Police assisted with a medical emergency along Spruce Street.
- Police received a burning complaint on North Fourth Street. However, police were unable to locate anyone in violation.
- Police received a report about a male mowing and causing grass clippings to cover the roadway along Martin Street. After police spoke with the male, he cleared off the roadway.
- Police responded to several parking violations that were causing traffic hazards.
- Police are investigating a report of harassment that occurred along Nichols Street.
- Police responded to North Fourth Street after a syringe was located there. Upon arrival, police properly collected the syringe.
- Police responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash in the area of Turnpike Avenue and Banks Street. According to police, a vehicle exited the roadway and impacted a utility pole. No injuries were reported as a result; there was minor damage to the vehicle, which was driven from the scene.
