CLEARFIELD – A large yard sale event featuring scratch and dent items that could not be sent to the Wal-Mart stores will be held May 10-11 to support Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital.
More than 20 tractor-trailer loads of items have been donated by the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Woodland for the event.
The event will start at 8 a.m. at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds Expo Building I on Friday and in Expo Building II on Saturday.
The event will remain open each day until items are sold out.
The funds raised by this event will help to provide pediatric equipment, programs and services at Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital and pediatric services throughout Geisinger Health System.
