CBT Bank Hires Special Assets/Collection Manager

CLEARFIELD – CBT Bank, a Division of Riverview Bank, is pleased to announce Brian P. Soltys has joined the bank as vice president & special assets/collection manager.

In this role, he’ll track, manage and restructure the bank’s owned real estate and problem loan portfolio and will manage the collection of past due loans to maximize the recovery of financial resources related to problem loan accounts.

He obtained an Associate’s degree in religion from Liberty University in 2017, making dean’s list all semesters, and is currently working toward a Bachelor’s degree.

Soltys also has an extensive knowledge in banking, with over 30 years of experience. He couples his experience with ongoing learning within the industry, including several AIB diplomas.

Throughout the course of his financial services career, he has held several positions including teller, credit adjustor, mortgage underwriter and most recently collection manager.

Soltys has great pride in being involved in the community, working with various non-profit organizations including American Diabetes Association and American Cancer Society.

Judith Mitchell, executive vice president, chief retail officer and region executive, stated, “Brian is a welcome addition to our team here in Clearfield County.

“His diverse background gives him valuable insight when working to assist our borrowers in finding resolutions to difficult loan repayment problems.

“Although located in Clearfield, Brian will provide oversight to the Collections function for the entire Riverview Bank loan portfolio, including the CBT Bank and Citizens Neighborhood Bank divisions.”
