Curwensville- The Curwensville Golden Tide Football Team used Novey Recycling as the back drop for their 2018 team poster photograph Labeling themselves as the “SCRAPIEST TEAM IN DISTRICT 9.”
Coach Evanko has lead the Golden Tide to the playoffs in 17 of the past 18 seasons starting in 2000. During the same time period, the Golden Tide has won 3 district championships in 2000, 2004, and 2010 and have been runner ups in 2001, 2006, and 2017.
The Golden Tide Football Booster Club is selling chances to win up to 5 Pittsburgh Steelers game tickets to help fund some of the teams equipment and activities including shirts for the Winter Passing League.
There will be two tickets for the December 2nd game against the Chargers and three tickets for the December 30th game against the Bengals. There will be two drawings with the first winner having their choice of games and the second winner receiving the other.
