State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Wednesday on State Street in Curwensville Borough. A Curwensville couple engaged in a verbal argument, during which a male allegedly raised his hand and was in the female’s face as though he was going to strike her. State police say she slapped the male in the face and then he left on foot. Both will be cited for the incident through the district court in Clearfield.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Wednesday on Pine Air Court in Boggs Township. During the incident, a 36-year-old Clearfield man and a 39-year-old Altoona man engaged in an altercation over the repossession of the Clearfield man’s vehicle. As a result, the Clearfield man allegedly struck the other man in the face with his shoe, causing a minor lip injury. The Clearfield man will be cited for the incident through the district court in Houtzdale.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an incident of trespassing that occurred Thursday at Lawrence Park Village. As a result, Brandon M. Ogden, 31, of Clearfield was arrested and housed in county jail; he was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge James Glass. Ogden is currently awaiting his preliminary hearing.
- Police reported on a drug violation that occurred Thursday on Montgomery Run Road. According to police, a male was seen walking and believed to be under the influence. When contact was made, it was determined that the male had consumed K2, a controlled substance, which was allegedly on his person. He was subsequently transported to the Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital for an evaluation, as it was believed he’d overdosed. Charges are to be filed as a result of the incident.
- Police received a report about an incident of retail theft involving two females that occurred Sept. 4 at the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet at the Clearfield Mall. One female was wanted on warrants through Domestic Relations and the police department. She was transported and lodged in county jail; charges are pending against both females.
