UPDATED: Winston Turns Himself in to Police, Hearing Scheduled in Domestic Assault Case

CURWENSVILLE – Calvin Winston turned himself in to police on Thursday. His preliminary hearing has been scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday during centralized court.

Curwensville Borough police would like to thank the public for its assistance with this investigation.

CURWENSVILLE – A warrant has been issued for Calvin Winston following a recent domestic assault incident at a Susquehanna Avenue address, Curwensville Borough police say.

Winston has been charged with two misdemeanor counts of simple assault; one misdemeanor count of harassment; and one summary count of harassment.

According to the incident report, a female victim called 911 to report she engaged in a verbal argument with Winston and it turned physical.

Winston allegedly struck her in the head with a stainless-steel mug. Upon arrival, police observed injuries to the female’s forehead.

Anyone with information on Winston’s whereabouts is asked to contact Curwensville Borough police at 814-236-3858 or 814-765-1533.
