CLEARFIELD – A Morrisdale man was sentenced to state prison Tuesday for possessing a quantity of heroin.
William John Lamb Jr., 26, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia before Judge Fredric J. Ammerman, who sentenced him to a total of 13 months to 30 months in state prison.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, officers arrived at Lamb’s Morrisdale residence on March 3, 2017 to serve an arrest warrant on Lamb, who was on state parole.
Lamb’s father let them inside the home where they found Lamb lying on a bedroom floor. In plain view, the parole officers were able to see drugs and drug paraphernalia and they then contacted state police.
When the troopers arrived, they found 80 stamp bags of heroin, marijuana, rolling papers, a scale and needles.
