CLEARFIELD – The Corner Concert Series will return to downtown Clearfield for its sixth year this June.
Live music will take place every Friday evening at the Shaw Park. The concerts feature local talent and raise funds for charities.
This year the Corner Concert Series will collect donations for the Clearfield Revitalization Corp. (CRC).
According to its Web site, the CRC institutes the Main Street Four-Point Approach. It’s community-driven, comprehensive strategy is used to revitalize the downtown, focusing on design, promotion, organization and economic restructuring.
The concerts will kick off at 7 p.m. June 1 with local duo and returning performers, “Singing Strings.” Concerts will continue every Friday through Labor Day with new talent each week.
The Shaw Park is located on the corner of East Market and Front streets. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. In the event of rain, shows will be cancelled.
Some dates are still available to local artists. For more information, find the Corner Concert Series on Facebook.
