State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about a theft that occurred Friday or Saturday on the Chestnut Grove Highway in Bloom Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a piece of mail from the victim’s mailbox. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call state police at 814-371-4652.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Saturday on Ponderosa Drive in Huston Township. During the incident, a 25-year-old DuBois woman allegedly kicked the front windshield of the victim’s 1997 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, causing damage. Damage is estimated at $250, state police say. Charges are pending through the district court.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Sunday on Buffalo Lane in Halfmoon Township. During the incident, a 61-year-old man allegedly drove his vehicle through the victim’s yard, causing damage.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Sunday at the Jefferson County Jail. During the incident, an inmate, Mason G. Solida, allegedly punched another inmate giving him a black eye. Charges were filed against Solida.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about retail thefts that occurred May 1 and Monday at the Wal-Mart store in Fox Township. During the first theft, an 18-year-old Kane man allegedly stole $32.40 worth of merchandise. During the second incident, he allegedly stole $6.88 worth of merchandise. He was cited through the district court as a result.
