Employees Recognized by PBA with Years of Service Award
CLEARFIELD – Two employees of CNB Bank, Lesa McElwee and Paul McDermott, were recently recognized for serving 40 or more years in the banking industry at the Pennsylvania Bankers Association (PA Bankers) Group 6 meeting held April 12 at the Calvin House in Duncansville.
The 40-Year Club consists of financial institution members of PA Bankers who have completed 40 or more years of service in Pennsylvania’s banking industry.
“Lesa and Paul have helped to grow and shape this organization into what it is today,” stated Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank.
“They show true dedication to their work, and I am very proud that they continue to be part of the CNB family.”
McElwee began her banking career with CNB in 1977. Throughout her career, she has advanced through several positions and gained knowledge in the areas of data processing, item processing, customer information systems, deposit operations and as customer service representative.
McElwee attained her current position as community office manager in 2009.
McDermott began his banking career at CNB as a messenger in 1978. Throughout his career, he also held positions as teller and head teller, collections officer and loan officer.
McDermott was promoted to his current position of assistant vice president of facilities in 2015.
Both have dedicated much time to the community. They’ve volunteered their expertise and time to numerous Clearfield area organizations over the years and continue to be active in the local community.
The Pennsylvania Bankers Association, located in Harrisburg, is the state’s leading banking trade association representing an expansive and diverse membership.
The association offers extensive continuing education programs, government relations representation on behalf of the industry, and provides numerous products and services for banks and their employees.
