State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about a burglary that occurred sometime Saturday or Sunday at Skytop Mountain Golf Course Pro Shop in Huston Township. During the incident, someone allegedly gained entry and removed approximately $100 from the cash register. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-342-3370.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about a strangulation incident that occurred April 25 in Union Township. During the incident, a 52-year-old man allegedly grabbed the victim around the neck, which caused a laceration and redness. Charges were filed through the district court as a result.
State police at Ridgway
- State police reported on an incident of DUI that occurred April 13 in the 600 block of Toby Road in Fox Township. A 47-year-old Kersey man was stopped for traffic violations and allegedly found to have been drinking. He was subsequently charged with DUI.
Clearfield Borough
- Police received a report from a person who was staying on West Front Street and who had a GPS taken from his vehicle.
- Police assisted two motorists who had locked their keys inside their vehicle.
- While on routine patrol, police observed a male walking at the Clearfield Driving Park. He had warrants out for his arrest and was taken into custody.
- Police received a report about criminal mischief that occurred to a vehicle while it was parked at a Daisy Street residence over the weekend. During the incident, someone allegedly smashed out a window and scratched the roof.
- Police spoke with people about a civil landlord-property dispute.
- Dubois City police were assisted with the alleged theft of a cell phone that was tracked to Clearfield Borough.
- Police received a report about an alleged assault between a male and female on North Fourth Street. Police say the male fled prior to their arrival at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
- Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an expired registration and allegedly determined that the driver was under the influence. The driver was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI.
Lawrence Township
- Police stopped a vehicle after a traffic violation Tuesday in the High Street area. When contact was made, an officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle allegedly yielded various drug paraphernalia, a small amount of marijuana and various controlled substances. Police say it was determined that the driver and passenger were both under the influence. The driver was subsequently taken to the hospital for a legal blood draw and then housed in county jail on a probation detainer. The passenger was also put in jail on three active warrants. Charges will also be filed against both as a result of the incident.
