KNOX TOWNSHIP – A 31-year-old Hastings man, Jesse C. Gregory, is in custody following a police pursuit.
According to Clearfield-based state police, a trooper stopped a vehicle at 10:23 a.m. Tuesday on Route 453 in Knox Township.
As he approached the vehicle, the driver allegedly fled and a pursuit ensued. The pursuit covered several miles until the vehicle traveled onto a dead-end road.
State police say Gregory stopped the vehicle and fled on foot. He was taken into custody a short distance later.
Gregory was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude police and several summary traffic violations. He was arraigned and lodged in county jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
