DUBOIS – Are you feeling like taking a journey to a simpler time? You can come to 1950’s America, when Ed Sullivan ruled the airwaves.
The Reitz Theater, DuBois, is looking for actors of all ages from 10-110 years. There are also many solo and ensemble roles available.
Veteran Reitz Theater Directors Joe and Becky Sensor will be holding auditions for Cultural Resources’ summer musical, Bye, Bye Birdie.
The musical is based on a book by Michael Stewart, with lyrics by Lee Adams and music by Charles Strouse.
Audition dates are Sunday, April 29 and Monday, April 30 at 6 p.m. at the Reitz Theater, 36 E. Scribner Ave., DuBois.
Singing and non-singing roles are available for all levels of skill and age range.
Show dates are July 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, July 8 at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $15 general admission and are available online at www.ReitzTheater.com, at the box office Thursdays from 1:30 p.m. until 6 p.m., and at Ace Hardware two weeks before opening night.
