State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about a theft that occurred between March 2 and April 9 in Rush Township. During the incident, a 20-year-old Morrisdale man allegedly failed to return a cell phone. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about the theft of services March 31 at the Port Matilda Elementary baseball field. During the incident, a juvenile allegedly used a privately-leased dumpster. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at Ridgway
- A Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal investigated a fire Tuesday on 19 Time to Bid Rd., in Sandy Township. The fire occurred at an abandoned mobile home and was determined to be incendiary in nature. There weren’t any injuries and damage was estimated at $30,000. Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a domestic Wednesday on Dorey Street Extension. During the incident, a verbal argument broke out between a 45-year-old woman and a 49-year-old man. She threw a cell phone charger end at a 15-year-old, allegedly striking him in the head.
- Police received a report about an incident of harassment by communication that occurred Wednesday on Robinson Avenue. During the incident, a female was receiving text messages that were harassing and threatening from an unknown number. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident Wednesday at the intersection of South Second Street and the Clearfield – Shawville Highway. Police say one person was flown from the scene for “advanced medical care,” while a second person was treated and released from Penn Highlands. Police are continuing their investigation into the accident.
- Police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred April 6 at the Sapp Bros. Truck Stop. At the scene, a woman told police that several windows in her vehicle had been broken out. She also said there was other damage to her vehicle. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police reported on a drug-related DUI that occurred Wednesday on Antes Hill Road. According to police, a known male was slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle. He was also allegedly found in possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
