State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an alleged incident of theft that occurred between Feb. 4 and Feb. 11 on Ridge Road in Bell Township. No further information was released in the report.
Lawrence Township
- Police reported on a drug-related incident that occurred Feb. 13 on Daisy Street in Lawrence Township. A woman called police saying she was being held hostage by her son. She informed police he was wanted on warrants in Centre and Allegheny counties. Police say drug paraphernalia charges are currently pending in the incident.
Curwensville Borough
- Police received a report about a domestic on Filbert Street.
- Police investigated a reported fight between two males at the school in Curwensville. Police cited one male for harassment as a result.
- Police received a report about an incident of disorderly conduct at the school in Curwensville.
- Pennsylvania State Parole was assisted with attempting to locate a person.
- Police were dispatched to a Pine Street address and assisted the fire department with a flooded basement.
DuBois City
- Police were dispatched for a burglary alarm at Hovis Auto. While en route, officers were cancelled as the security company advised it was a false activation.
- Police received a report about a domestic assault in the 500 block of Locust Street. When officers met with a couple, the female was visibly upset. They observed “fresh bruising and raised abrasions on her throat, abrasions and scratches with redness on her right cheek and a fresh, red mark on her left wrist. The female was evaluated by emergency personnel. Police say Thomas Lukens was arrested for strangulation, simple assault and harassment and lodged in county jail.
- Police were dispatched to a reported overdose on Olive Avenue. According to police, a female was located in the bathroom. She was awake but huffing duster. Police subsequently took the duster. When they were downstairs, she attempted to get the duster in front of officers and emergency personnel. Police took all of her cans of duster and disposed of them. Emergency personnel transported the female to the hospital for treatment.
