DUBOIS – Kenn Starr (center) of the Starr Hill Vineyard & Winery in Curwensville recently presented a Starr Family donation to DuBois Central Catholic’s basketball program in the amount of $1,000.
DCC parents Valerie Kness and Stacey Downer coordinate the many activities of the parents in support of the basketball program.
Starr states, “DCC is dedicated to the development of strong Christian principles within its students, seeking to instill moral values and a positive attitude towards oneself and others and education in general.”
Principal Dawn Bressler adds, “DCC is grateful to the Starr family and Starr Hill Winery for this donation to the Cardinal basketball program, and these extra funds will provide for student activities that are not in our regular budget.”
