BJW Fire Company to Host “Smoke Showin’” Event

WOODLAND – Plans are currently under way for the BJW Fire Company to host its first-ever “Smoke Showin’” event this summer.

It will be held Friday night and Saturday, June 8-9 at the Woodland Park and will feature games, food and music.

In addition to the “Backyard Amateur BBQ” with special classes for fire companies, there will be a car show Saturday and a fireworks display later that evening.

The registration deadline for the BBQ cook-off is May 1. The car show will have 14 classes, including one for farm tractors.

Additional details about the event will be announced in the near future.
