CLEARFIELD – A 21-year-old Rockton woman, Jessica Larson-Smith, is wanted by local authorities in two drug cases, announced District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. on Tuesday.

On July 10, 2017, Officer Casey Doherty of the DuBois City police charged Larson-Smith with possession of a controlled substance, M, and use/possession of drug paraphernalia, M.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, on June 28, 2017, Larson-Smith was stopped by officers after being observed acting suspiciously.

While speaking with officers, she kept putting her hands in her pockets. Officers observed loose pills inside a pocket; a search allegedly yielded pills and a bag of methamphetamine.

A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Aug. 25, at which time Larson-Smith failed to appear and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

In a separate case, on Aug. 28, 2017, Officer Zachary Cowan of the Lawrence Township police charged Larson-Smith with use/possession of drug paraphernalia, M, and traffic offenses.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, on Aug. 20, 2017, Cowan conducted a traffic stop due to a vehicle code violation and encountered the driver, Larson-Smith, as and her passenger.

Through routine investigation, it was determined that the passenger had a warrant for his arrest.

Various items of drug paraphernalia were allegedly observed inside the vehicle, including, syringes, stamp bags and metal spoons. Larson-Smith was taken to the Clearfield County Jail.

Larson-Smith is described as a Caucasian female standing 5 feet, 4 inches tall. She has brown hair and eyes.

Anyone with knowledge of Larson-Smith’s location is asked to call Clearfield County Crime Stoppers at 800-376-4700. All calls to Crime Stoppers are confidential.
