CURWENSVILLE – Sarah Curulla, Curwensville Borough Council president, has declared a snow emergency. It’s in effect for Curwensville Borough until further notice.
Curulla says officials are requesting that borough residents and business owners assist with:
- removing all vehicles from borough roadways in order for snow removal to be completely safely and efficiently. The borough has the option to tow vehicles from specific roadways to allow for snow removal and the passage of emergency vehicles.
- Shoveling a three-foot perimeter around all fire hydrants and maintaining all sidewalks. Sidewalks and driveways must be cleared within 24 hours of the completion of snowfall. Snow should not be placed onto sidewalks and roadways.
Anyone with questions should contact the Curwensville Borough office at 814-236-1840.
