CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Area United Way volunteers are striving to reach this year’s annual campaign goal of $220,000.

Greg Dixon, campaign chair, is asking the community to help the CAUW to help others. It is just 10.2 percent away from reaching this year’s campaign goal.

The funds raised by the campaign will support the CAUW’s 23 local member agencies throughout Clearfield County.

Tax-deductible donations can be sent to CAUW, 18 N. Second St., P.O. Box 1430, Clearfield, PA 16830.

People can also donate through PayPal at clearfieldareaunitedway.org and or contribute to the CAUW Legacy Fund.

Notable recent gifts were from: U.G.I. and employees; CNB employees; Billotte Electrical; Curry & Associates Inc.; FedEx and employees; Sheetz Inc.; M&T Bank employees; Penn State employees; and SECA employees.
