The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites the public to choose the “Fan Favorite” of the District 2 Paint the Plow contest by “liking” their favorite in the contest photo album on the PennDOT Facebook page.
Voting is now under way and will remain open until 12 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3. The photo in each album with the most likes will be named “Fan Favorite.”
“District 2 is very excited to have high schools from Clearfield, Centre, and Juniata counties participate in this year’s contest”, said District 2 Executive Karen Michael.
“We encourage everyone to review the plow photos and vote for their favorite. Once again, the student art work is quite impressive and we’re proud to shine a spotlight on their efforts.”
This is the second year District 2 has held the competition, branching out this year to three of the nine counties it serves.
The six participating high schools are Harmony, Clearfield, Bald Eagle, Bellefonte, St. Joseph Catholic Academy and East Juniata. You can vote for your favorite District 2 plow by visiting our Paint the Plow page.
The plows will be mounted to a plow truck in the areas of the respective school districts for the upcoming winter season.
