DUBOIS – Car seat checks will be offered from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Brady Street Car Wash, DuBois.
The event is being hosted by the DuBois Emergency Medical Service and the car wash.
“Winter is coming,” says Larry Kirkwood II, DuBois EMS spokesperson. “DuBois EMS and Brady Street Car want to see your little ones are safely secured.”
“[You can] stop by the Brady Street Car Wash and get your car seat checked by a certified car seat technician.”
Kirkwood encouraged people to ensure their little ones are secured this winter when traveling on snow-covered or icy roadways.
The car wash will offer 50 percent off only after a car seat check. The car seat check is free to the public, and there isn’t any appointment necessary.
Kirkwood says that the car seat technician can also assist with the installation of new car seats.
