The Alzheimer’s Association® is inviting DuBois area residents to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s by participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The Walk will take place on October 7th, 9:00AM at City Park in DuBois.
Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s participants will complete a two-mile walk and will learn about Alzheimer’s disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment and support programs and services from the Alzheimer’s Association. Walk participants will also join in a meaningful tribute ceremony to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
“We encourage everyone to come out and support these local Walk to End Alzheimer’s events” says Gail Roddie-Hamlin, President and CEO of the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Pennsylvania Chapter. “The passion, time and dedication that our supporters show us at these events is truly inspiring and I can’t think of a better way to honor those struggling with this disease than to come out and join us in this fight.”
In addition to the two-mile walk, participants will enjoy snacks and entertainment, and information from Chapter presenting sponsors.
