DUBOIS – Junior Achievement’s Glow Big or Glow Home 5k Run/Walk will be Sept. 29 in the DuBois City Park.
You can get yourself, friends and family glowing and flashing with light for a fun Glow Run.
Pre-party with a DJ and free glow-in-the-dark face painting will start at 6:30 p.m. at the DuBois City Park.
The Fun Run will start at 8 p.m. proceeding from the park to the Beaver Meadow Walkway loop with fun glowing surprises along the way, such as glowing, flashing and black lights plus music along the course.
You will wrap up your Fun Run with dancing at Cherry Amphitheater for the post-race celebration.
The event is sponsored by gold sponsors, Independent Political & Social Club and Miller Welding & Machine Co., and silver sponsor, Whitewave Foods.
The race will be $20 for adults and $15 for kids who are ages 6-18 years. Kids who are age 5 and under are free.
T-shirts and glow necklaces are available with pre-registration.
