DUBOIS – “Jiu Jitsu and martial arts do not build character, they reveal it.”
Anyone who may be interested in the art of Jiu Jitsu, there will be an opportunity to both learn and to ask questions.
WPAL DuBois, located at 37 E. Long Ave., DuBois, will be hosting a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Orientation Day on Sept. 10 at 12 p.m.
You can come hear about the benefits of training this martial art and what training Jiu Jitsu entails.
Also you can find out how you can get help with accomplishing your fitness, self-defense, competition, personal health goals and more.
“Jiu Jitsu is one of the most effective self-defense martial arts to safely subdue your opponent. It is also a great way to build confidence and stay in shape,” said WPAL DuBois’ Jiu Jitsu coach and MMA/grappling competitor Mike Kojancic.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a grappling-oriented martial art/combat sport. Practitioners utilize techniques, such as superior positioning, leverage, joint locks, chokes and more, to control their opponent.
