REYNOLDSVILLE – Jeff Tech Practical Nursing, Class 63, celebrated its graduation on Aug. 2.
Brenda Hodge, program coordinator, began the program with a welcome and the Florence Nightingale Pledge.
Nursing instructor, Cathy Striegel, gave the faculty address. Graduates, Charity McNeel and Kylee Kline gave the class representative address.
Scholastic awards were presented by Cathy Striegel. Brennan McMillen was chosen by her classmates to receive the “Diana McLaughlin Peer Recognition Award.”
Korisa Loy was selected by the faculty for the “Bridget Nestor Christenson Spirit of Nursing Award.”
Dawn Hannold received the “Mark Ruth Spirit of Nursing Award” for excellence as a returning adult student.
Taylor Dodd was recognized with the “Scientific Inquiry/Spirit of Nursing” award.
Michelle Waltman was the class valedictorian and Brennan McMillen was the class salutatorian.
School nursing pins were presented by instructors, Karen Harry and Alicia Hawk. Nancy Rosman presented flowers to each graduate.
A reception for graduates and their friends and families was held immediately following the graduation ceremony.
