CLEARFIELD – Earlier this year, Dustin A. Minarchick, CNB Bank’s commercial lending officer, was chosen as the winner of the inaugural Purposeful Banker “Up and Comer” award by PrecisionLender.

PrecisionLender is a banking pricing and profitability management tool utilized by the bank.

“The Purposeful Banker Awards honor the best in the industry. You can’t build a brand, team and relationships without people who are truly dedicated to the purpose of the bank,” states the BankOnPurpose Web site.

“Banks everywhere are looking for ways to improve performance and continue growing. Part of that process is finding new talented relationship managers.”

Minarchick was nominated for this award for being a relative newcomer in the lending field and for showing tremendous growth and potential during 2016.

After being chosen as the winner, Minarchick was invited to the BankOnPurpose conference in Austin, Texas, where he had the opportunity to be involved in sessions on customer needs, building a team, a brand and a bank with purpose.

“This award makes my work ever so much more enjoyable and challenging. So many of my team members at CNB Bank have contributed to my personal and professional growth,” said Minarchick.

“The award is certainly an honor, and I’ll do my best to represent CNB according to the standards this award represents.”

A native of Osceola Mills, Minarchick graduated from Philipsburg-Osceola High School in 2002 prior to receiving his Bachelor degree in business finance from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2007.

After obtaining his degree, Minarchick joined CNB as a member of the management training program in 2007.  Immediately following the intensive training program, he obtained a position in the bank’s Credit Administration department as a commercial credit analyst.

In 2016, Minarchick was promoted to commercial and retail lending officer, where his primary responsibilities are to foster customer relationships by developing and maintaining business and personal loan and deposit relationships in the Clearfield and surrounding areas.

Minarchick currently resides in Morrisdale with his wife, Kylie, and their son, Nico.  He is a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in West Decatur, where he also served as the chairman of the Head of Trustees for three years.

Minarchick currently serves as treasurer of the Central Intermediate Unit No. 10, Moshannon Valley Economic Development Partnership board member, and vice president of Philipsburg Phil’s Legion Baseball.  He volunteers as a Philipsburg Heritage Days committee member and as coach of the Clarion University Youth Baseball Camp.

Based on strong, traditional values, CNB Bank is dedicated to being the premier financial services provider in the area, focused on the changing needs of people and businesses in communities by providing the highest quality service.

To hear more about Minarchick and his award, his podcast interview with Jim Young of PrecisionLender can be found online.
