DUBOIS – Dr. Ryan Andrulonis joined the team at DuBois Dermatology and Cosmetics last year and is leading the charge with Dr. Lisa Pfingstler.

Free skin cancer screenings for Melanoma month will be available from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday at DuBois Dermatology and Cosmetics in DuBois.

May is Melanoma/skin cancer detection and prevention month, and the free screenings are a part of the national SPOTme program.

Fairman-Pfingstler and Adrulonis will be available to perform a free skin cancer body check.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Andrulonis has made DuBois his home with his wife Kate, two sons Bryce and Calvin and dog, Ace.

He attended the University of Pittsburgh where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science.

He attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine for his Doctorate of Medicine. There, he received the distinguished Charles Claude Guthrie award for being in the top four of his class after the first two years. He subsequently received the honor of being inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

After an internship at UPMC Presbyterian, he entered a dermatology residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville where he served as chief resident. Andrulonis has published articles in several of the premiere dermatology journals.

To encourage new patients to meet with the doctors for any dermatology needs or services/procedures, there is a current promotion for all patients to receive a discount on a premium sunscreen and a free sun hat; more details available upon inquiry.
