CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School 11th and 12th grade students and their dates will have “A Night in Neverland” in a “Peter Pan Neverland”-themed prom this Saturday from 7 p.m. – 10:30 p.m., at the Florian Banquet Center on Mill Road in Clearfield.
The banquet center will be open to the public to view the decorations on Saturday between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. only. For safety and security purposes, no one will be permitted in the Florian Banquet Center after 6 p.m.
Parents, relatives, friends and the community are invited to see the students dressed in their best at the promenade, which will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. in the CAJSHS auditorium.
Coronation of prom king and queen will immediately follow at the end of the promenade. Students will then proceed to the Florian Banquet Center for the prom.
Only prom attendees will be permitted inside the Florian Banquet Center following the promenade. Students will not be admitted into the banquet center for the prom until 7 p.m.
The prom court, voted on by the faculty is based on: showing great citizenship, both inside and outside of the classroom, good attitude, conduct, attendance and a good overall representation of the Clearfield Area School District.
Those senior students nominated are: Will Myers, David McKenzie, Caleb Hull, Ryan Spencer, Nate Brubaker, Evan Brown and Hayden Steiner. Girls include: Sam Dixon, Emma Potter, Maci Coleman, Rebecca Maltais and Rachel Homan.
The advisors for the junior class are Mrs. Leann Adams and Mrs. Tiffany Warlow.
