Ann M. Donahue, 70, of Falls Creek died Friday, April 7, 2017 at her home. Born July 7, 1946 in Ridgway, she was the daughter of the late Chester R. and Dorothy G. (Bosnik) Burrs.
She was married to Joseph J. Donahue. He preceded her in death in 1993.
She was a chef in the DuBois area. She worked at various restaurants and retired after many years of service. She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan. She also enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, traveling and going to the casino.
She made her home with her fiancé, Stewart Preston of Falls Creek.
She is survived by five children, Joann Donahue and her fiancé, Eric Von Schmittou and Sam Donahue and his wife, Lori, all of Treasure Lake, DuBois; Marla Crytser and her husband, Scott of Myrtle Beach, SC; Jeff Donahue and his wife, Terri of Fort Mill, NC; and Nicole Preston and her husband, Nathan of New Castle.
She is survived by three sisters, Jackie Drayer of West Point, Va., Carol Goodford of Garner, NC and Mary Jo Hughes of DuBois and a brother, Chester Burrs of Rochester, NY. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and David Burrs.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Baronick Funeral Home and Crematorium Inc.
A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor David Nagele officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in St. Marys.
