Thomas G. Lumadue, 66, of Houtzdale died Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Family Hospice in Pittsburgh. Born Jan. 25, 1951 in Spring Valley, Clearfield County, he was a son of the late Grant and Arlene (Dixon) Lumadue.
He was a member of the Houtzdale Loyal Order of Moose and the Gearhartville Sportsmen’s Club. He retired from Glenn O. Hawbaker Inc. of State College, where he was employed as a heavy equipment operator.
On May 16, 1969 in Brisbin, he married Linda (Hayward) Lumadue, who survives at home.
Along with his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Lorie (Bryan) Harnish of Parsonville and Lisa (Allen) Lutz of Sanborn; four grandchildren, Heather and Bryan Harnish Jr. of Parsonville and Grant and Raya Lutz of Sanborn; and a great-granddaughter, Ociee Harnish.
Also surviving are three sisters, Gladys Wilson of Houtzdale, Diane Yatta of Clearfield and Brenda (Jerry) Bloom of Madera and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John; a brother, Dale Lumadue; and a sister, Alice Gray.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home Inc., Houtzdale, with Pastor Kevin Howard officiating.
Family and friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Brisbin.
