Gary W. Johns Sr., 64, of Beccaria died, Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016 at his home. Born May 28, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth (Wrobleski) Johns.
Mr. Johns was a retired union steel worker and a member of the United Steel Workers No. 1098 of Cleveland, Ohio. Also, he was a member of the Muddy Run Sportsmen’s Club in Morann.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Teresa Johns and one sister, Patricia Hall.
He is survived by two daughters, Lisa Carter and her husband, Cornell and Melissa Lansberry and her husband, Keith and two sons, Gary Johns Jr. and his companion, Charlotte Webb and Stephen Johns and his companion, Brandy Charles.
He is survived by five sisters, Sharon Price and her husband, John, Valarie Morris (Graham B. Morris), Julie Flick and her husband, Ron, Joyce Spencer and her husband, Chalmer and Billie Jo Johns and her companion, Jim Spencer; one brother, Dennis Johns and his wife, Jackie; his former wife, Helen Yerega; 22 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Royal Oak Tavern in Janesville.
