Smoke testing by Gwin, Dobson & Foreman, Inc. has been finished. Sandy Township, itself, will smoke test West Liberty and Slab Run.
“Check your furnaces and get everything ready to go,” said Supervisor Dave Sylvis.
Sylvis asked for township citizens to make sure their furnaces are in working order. He said based upon his 40 years of fire department experience, the first cold snap often sees a spike in fires.
PennDOT has notified the township that in 2017, it will be doing roadwork between Camp Mountain Run and Diamond Street in Penfield.
