Lois Ann Kanouff, 61, of Curwensville died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016 at the home of her daughter, Billie Jo, after a lengthy illness.
Born Jan. 13, 1955 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Albert Gordon and Alice Mae (Manahan) Carter.
She was a homemaker and she had also drove school bus for Kip’s Bus Service for more than 15 years. She dearly enjoyed her time driving bus No. 3 and greatly enjoyed the students who rode her bus.
She also enjoyed crocheting, yard sales, auctions, NASCAR, soap operas and fishing.
Surviving are four children, Billie Jo Carter and her significant other, Corey Westover of Westover, Christopher Allen Kanouff and Shawn James Kanouff, both of Clearfield, and Adam Dale Kanouff of Curwensville.
Also surviving are eight grandchildren, John Victor Coutariaux III, Kalie Ann Caldwell, Brittany Sipe, Justin Allen Kanouff, Nicholas Isaiah Conklin, Hunter John Kanouff, Destiny Marie Kanouff and Brandi Lee Kanouff; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Joe Ann Royer of Clearfield; and two brothers, Albert Gordon Carter Jr. and his wife, Karen of Curwensville and Edward Allen Carter and his wife, Brenda of Clearfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Lee Manahan.
Funeral services for Lois Kanouff will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville with the Rev. Stephen Shields officiating.
Friends will be received from 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
