DUBOIS – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting drivers that a section of Route 219 (North Brady Street) in DuBois has partially re-opened.

A fallen tree brought down a number of utility lines earlier today between Jared Street and West Washington Avenue in DuBois.

As utility work takes place, flaggers are enforcing an alternating traffic pattern through the area. A full re-opening of this section of Route 219 is not expected until day break tomorrow.

Route 219 in this area carries thousands of vehicles each day, so drivers should be prepared for long delays and stopped or slowed traffic. Drivers familiar with the area may choose to use alternate routes.
