Dora R. Korb, 93, of Bigler died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016 at the Ridgeview Elder Care and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.
She was born Feb. 26, 1923 in Bigler, a daughter of the late William Charles and Julia Catherine (Williams) Korb.
She was a kindergarten teacher in the Altoona School District for many years.
She was a member of Dale United Methodist Church, Bigler, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Bigler-Jackson-Woodland Fire hall.
She is survived by her a sister, Jane Tomasini of Westfield, Mass.; three brothers, James Korb and his wife, Mildred and Harold Korb and his wife, Thelma, all of Meriden, Conn., and Arthur Korb of Bigler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Nellie Davis and Alice Walker and three brothers, Harvey, Charles and Harry Korb.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, with the Rev. Kenneth J. Leonard officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockton Cemetery, Rockton.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
