Mary Ann Cutler, 75, of Clearfield died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016 at her home. She was born Feb. 1, 1941, a daughter of the late Harry J. and Mary Beatrice (Dunlap) O’Dell.
She was employed for many years at The Progress and in her earlier years as a crossing guard at Leonard Grade School.
She attended St. John Lutheran Church, Clearfield. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed reading and working on crossword puzzles.
She was an animal lover but most dearly she loved children and visiting with family.
She is survived by her husband, Richard K. Cutler, whom she was wed Aug. 31, 1963 in Clearfield; two children, Denise A. Procious and her husband, Ronald of Duncannon and Richard T. Cutler and his wife, Kathy of Smithmill; a granddaughter, Olivia Cutler of Potsdam, NY; a sister and brother, Barbara Hoover of DuBois and William ‘Bud’ O’Dell of Clearfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by infant twin son and daughter; six sisters, Annie Snell, Gracie Cole, Dorothy Jean Lytle, Donna Lytle, Catherine O’Dell and June O’Dell; and four brothers, Thomas J. O’Dell, Andrew O’Dell, Harry O’Dell Jr. and Malcolm Kenneth O’Dell.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, with the Rev. Kenneth J. Leonard officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 275 21st St., Clearfield.
