Albert Nick Kokosko, 86, of Ramey died Friday, Oct. 7, 2016 at Ridgeview Eldercare in Curwensville.
Born Dec. 6, 1929 in Ginter, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Nicklos) Kokosko.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ramey. He loved farming and was an avid hunter.
He worked for years as a heavy equipment operator for Glenn O. Hawbaker and HRI in State College.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth (Brown) Kokosko; two daughters, Cecelia Gormont and her husband, Tim Sr., of Clearfield and Kristine Kokosko of Austin, Texas; three grandchildren, Jonathan Gormont, Cassandra Miller and Timothy Gormont Jr.; and three great-grandchildren, Carter, Sienna and Shilo.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Paul and Edward Kokosko and three sisters, Mildred Kokosko, Katherine Kushner and Ann Nemish.
Friends will be received 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services Inc., Ramey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Ramey, with Fr. Zab Amar officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
