Ariane Dawn Beck, 36, of Clearfield died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015. She was born March 8, 1979 in DuBois, a daughter of Charles and Dawn (Stiffler) Beck of Clearfield.
She graduated in 1997 from the Clearfield Area High School, where she lettered in volleyball and diving. She was also a head majorette and active in band, orchestra and chorus.
She then attended Clarion University and Penn State DuBois. She loved to camp, bake, cook and being around animals. She had attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Clearfield.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters, Kendrah Beck and Tayah Rees, both of Clearfield; two brothers, James Stiffler of North Carolina and Michael Beck Sr. and his wife, Stephanie of Clearfield; and a sister, Aimee Cartwright and her husband, William of Clearfield.
She is survived by four nephews, Derek Cartwright and his wife, Ashley of Curwensville and Billy Cartwright, Darin Beck and Michael Beck Jr., all of Clearfield; two uncles, William Stiffler and his wife, Angela of Virginia and Charles Warnacutt of Arizona; a long-time companion, Clayton Shadeck of Clearfield; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by a baby sister; her maternal grandparents, William and Dolly Stiffler; and her paternal grandparents, Harold and Louise Beck.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, with Dr. Duane A. White officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Joy Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
