Marian B. “Molly” Milliron Sprague, 80, of DuBois died Monday, May 4, 2015 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Born Aug. 1, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Arlene (Fisher) Milliron.
She was a 1952 graduate of the DuBois Area High School. She retired from Rockwell International Manufacturing/Equimeter in 2000 after 15 years of service. She was also the former owner and operator of the Rockdale Ranch in Beechwoods.
She was a member of the Episcopal Church of Our Savior, where she was a member of the Episcopal Church Women. She was past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star and a past den mother for the Falls Creek Cub Scout Pack.
She also enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing and loved to roller skate.
She is survived by two children, William Sprague and his wife, Karen and Patti Allen and her husband, Terry, both of Falls Creek; three grandchildren, Kenneth and Jeffrey Sprague and Nichole Sharer; three great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Helen and Patsy Milliron; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Allen Sprague; three sisters, Mary Beth Monroe, Frances Liner and Dorothy Dungey; and three brothers, Wesley “Bud,” L. James and Frederick Milliron; a niece; and a nephew.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at the Church of Our Savior with the Rev. Melinda Hall officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
