Ruth L. McNamee, 103, a guest of Windy Hill Village of Presbyterian Home, Philipsburg, and formerly of Brisbin, died Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the home.
Born April 23, 1912 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of Zda Morningstar.
She was employed as a nurse’s aide until her retirement. She was a member of The Red Hat Society at Windy Hill Village.
She is survived by three daughters, Jane Stordahl of Temeclua, Calif., Jackie Adams and her husband, Richard of San Clemente, Calif., and Diane Krebs and her husband, Bob of Delaware, Ohio and a son, Larry McNamee and his wife, Barb of Chicago, Ill.
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Carol McNamee of Brisbin; and a good friend, Frances Weller of Port Matilda.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Regis F McNamee, and a son, Regis W “Mac” McNamee, and three grandsons, James, Louis and Michael.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Brisbin.
