CLEARFIELD – The Lawrence Township Supervisors held their reorganizational meeting Monday, which was followed by their regular meeting.
According to Secretary Barb Shaffner, no changes were made to the township’s administrative organization. Officers for 2015 are: Chairman William Lawhead and Vice-Chairman Daniel Mitchell Sr.
Schaffner was reappointed secretary/treasurer for the board, Mark Brooks was reappointed as police chief and Debra Finkbeiner was reappointed as code enforcement and zoning officer.
James Naddeo is retained as the township solicitor and Stiffler, McGraw & Associates Inc. as the township’s engineering services.
Meeting times remain the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the township building, 45 George St., Clearfield.
At the regular meeting, it was noted that Roadmaster Ron Woodling’s was starting Monday.
The supervisors approved pay estimate No. 7 for Diehl Construction, totaling $360,319 for the ongoing sewage line replacement project in the Hyde area.
The supervisors also approved change order No. 2 for the sanitary sewer project.
The next meeting of the township will be at its regularly scheduled time at 7 p.m. Jan. 20.
