HYDE — The Clearfield Area High School junior varsity football team raised its record to 4-0 on the season with a 26-6 win over Huntingdon Monday night.
Bison quarterback Corey Shimmel eclipsed the 200-yard rushing mark for the second week in a row as he ran for 209 yards and three scores, plus added a 2-point conversion to finish the game with 20 of the 26 Bison points.
Dakota Shimmel had the other TD with a 15-yard scamper from his running back position.
Michael Holtmeyer recovered two fumbles and Hunter Bumbarger recovered one to lead the Bison defense, which gave up only its second score of the season.
The Bison travel to Central Mountain next Monday night.
