James R. Kismer, 20, of Philipsburg died Monday, June 23, 2014 in Greenfield Township. Born Aug. 6, 1993 in Gaithersburg, Md., he was the son of Michele Hazel Reigel and her husband, Andrew of Penfield and James T. Kismer of Gaithersburg, Md.
Mr. Kismer was employed as a tree trimmer by Dewey Tree Service. He was a 2011 graduate of the West Branch High School.
He’s survived by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Kathie Hazel of Allport; two sisters, Christina Kismer and Lori Kismer, both of Bucks County; two brothers, George H. Stebbing and Brett A. Stebbing, both of Penfield; and his fiancée, Courtnee Lindstrom of Philipsburg.
Mr. Kismer was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mary and Turner Kismer.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Strange & Weaver Funeral Home, Morrisdale, with the Rev. Scott Hartfock officiating. Friends will be received from4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
