A Mountain Run Road resident reported Friday that a man pulled into their driveway and appeared to act strange. Upon arrival police attempted to talk to the 33-year-old man; however, he was incoherent and could not provide any information. Police found a bottle of medication in the man’s vehicle and transported him for evaluation and treatment.
On Friday police responded to a South Brady Street residence for an alleged domestic dispute. A 48-year-old man explained to police that his 8-year-old son was not listening to his parents and the man yelled at him. Police checked on the family and they appeared to be OK. The situation was handled without incident.
On Saturday police received a report of an alleged fight at Garden Grove. Upon arrival the suspects had left the parking lot area. Police spoke to one of the parties and the 37-year-old Treasure Lake woman stated she had come to help her sister who was intoxicated. She said her sister began arguing and then hit her in the head. The woman declined to press charges.
On Saturday an employee of Pilot reported that her cell phone was stolen.
Police responded to a 911 hang-up call from a Forest Avenue residence on Sunday. Upon arrival a 23-year-old woman reported that her ex-boyfriend had been at the residence, causing problems. But when she called 911 he left the residence so she hung up.
A Treasure Lake resident reported Sunday that someone was coming on his porch, ringing his door bell and then leaving the scene. The suspects were gone when police arrived in the area.
Police responded to a Treasure Lake residence for a report of a loud party on Sunday. Police handled the situation without incident but were called back later in the evening and told the guests to disperse for the evening.
Police received a report of a disturbance in the area of South Ninth Street and Walnut Avenue on Sunday. There wasn’t anything found upon police arrival.
On Sunday a 35-year-old Troutville man turned from Shaffer Road onto Maple Avenue when a white sedan entered his lane of travel. He swerved off the roadway, which caused his vehicle to overturn. The white sedan left the scene. No injuries were reported, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
A 38-year-old Wilson Avenue woman reported Sunday that a neighbor was yelling at her children. Police handled the situation without incident.
A truck driver reported that while he was sleeping in his truck Sunday in the Pilot parking lot, another truck scraped his own. Minor damage was reported.
