SANDY TOWNSHIP – All roadways have been closed heading to and from Sandy Township, according to the Sandy Township Police Department.
Sandy Township Emergency Management has requested residents to stay at their current location. Rescue crews are responding to calls as quickly as possible but are stretched very thin, police said.
Trains and ambulances are being diverted from the area. Power is currently out in the West Sandy area. Residents are urged to stay in their homes unless there is an immediate danger of flooding, police said.
