PHILIPSBURG – Two, unidentified Philipsburg residents were listed as suspects in a continuing investigation into the distribution of synthetic marijuana, reported the state police at Philipsburg today.
Between April 4 and Monday, troopers purchased synthetic marijuana from a North Second Street residence on three, different occasions. Yesterday troopers applied for a search warrant through the office of Magisterial District Judge Allen Sinclair.
Troopers executed the search warrant and seized approximately five pounds of green vegetable matter and chemicals used to manufacture synthetic marijuana. Additionally, troopers seized synthetic marijuana, U.S. Currency and drug paraphernalia.
Charges are currently pending against several people found at the residence. The investigation is continuing at this time.
